Duke BME Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Event: ODE Summer Design Camp

The Outreach Design Education (ODE) Program Summer Design Camp at Duke University focuses on engineering design-centric educational opportunities for high school students and their teachers. On Monday through Thursday each week, students (rising 10th - 12th graders) will participate in an immersive biomedical engineering design experience. Through a series of design workshops, labs, and innovation sessions, participants will learn about engineering design and how this process allows them to apply conceptual knowledge to real-world problems. Participants apply the process to uncover biomedical needs and to create prototype biomedical devices.
